Raleigh Success: 85 Days → 6 Days
"Spring Forest was booked until late March. I'm an NC State grad student and needed my REAL ID for a conference flight. Got an alert 6 days after signing up for Garner next week. Booked in 90 seconds. Saved my trip!"

Why Raleigh DMV Appointments Are Nearly Impossible
Wake County's DMV serves 1.2 million residents (North Carolina's most populous county) with just four main driver license offices: Avent Ferry, Spring Forest, Cary, and Garner. The Research Triangle metro area of 2.37 million people creates massive demand, especially with constant influx of new residents — Wake County grows by 66 people per day.
Add NC State's 37,000+ students, Duke, and UNC's populations, plus the tech/biotech workforce relocating to Research Triangle Park, and appointment slots disappear within 3-5 minutes. A 2024 state audit revealed a 42% vacancy rate for driver's license examiners statewide, making the situation worse.

"Without significant changes... the problems facing North Carolinians at the DMV are going to get worse before they get better."
— State Auditor Jessica Holmes
What this means for you: With nearly half of examiner positions unfilled and Wake County adding 24,000+ people annually, appointment waits are only getting longer. Don't wait — automate your search.
