Terms of Service

By using our DMV alert service, you agree not to misuse or attempt to manipulate the system in any way. We provide notification services based on publicly available appointment data from the North Carolina DMV. We are not affiliated with the NC DMV or any government agency.

Our alerts notify you only if the DMV shows an available appointment. We do not control DMV scheduling or create appointments, and therefore cannot guarantee that appointments will appear during your subscription period. The service you are purchasing is the monitoring and delivery of alerts, not the appointment itself. Users remain responsible for booking their own appointments through the official NCDOT website.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time. To cancel, submit a cancellation request at ncdmvappointments.com/unsubscribe or simply reply STOP to any text message. Cancellations take effect immediately, and you will not be billed again. All SMS alert plans are set to automatically renew each month. To prevent future charges, you must cancel before your next scheduled payment date.

Refund Policy

Because our service depends on DMV appointment availability, which is outside of our control, refunds are limited. Subscribers to monthly SMS plans may request a 50% refund if no alerts were delivered during the applicable billing cycle. The retained 50% covers non-refundable payment processing fees and the costs of continuously monitoring the DMV system.

If even a single alert is delivered during your billing period, the plan is considered active and no refunds will be issued. Refunds are not offered for users who cancel mid-cycle, as access to the service continues until the end of the billing period. All other sales, including renewals, are final.

To request a refund under these terms, please visit our Support Center. Approved refunds will be credited back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Privacy Policy

We collect only the information necessary to deliver alerts — typically your email, phone number (if using SMS), and optionally your zip code for regional filtering. This information is never sold or shared with third parties beyond our messaging providers (e.g., Twilio for SMS).

We use Google Analytics and Meta Pixel to better understand how users interact with our site and improve performance. These tools may track anonymous usage behavior. No personally identifiable data is used for remarketing unless you have explicitly opted in.

You can unsubscribe from emails at any time via the link at the bottom of each message. For SMS, simply reply STOP to opt out.
